Hit me up! How can I be of service?

At this point in my life and career, I am simply looking for more people to connect with; learn from and share knowledge and artistry with. Pursuing dance is a life long journey! And sharing it - passing along the knowledge to future generations is something that was instilled very specifically in me by the many who mentored me throughout my primary training years.

I am available for Guest Classes/Workshops, Competitive Choreography, Virtual Critiques/Facetime Coaching Sessions (NEW), Wedding Party Choreography, Flash Mob Choreography, Private Instruction/Consultation and any quite possibly any other dance or choreography need you might have. That, OR I know someone 😜

Guest Classes & Workshops

Although most people know me as a tap dancer, I am usually teaching some form of Jazz (Traditional, Lyrical, Contemporary), Hip Hop, Musical Theatre or Conditioning in addition.

I’ve also been known to teach partnering workshops (both couples and group partnering/lifts) as well as improv workshops, focused on listening to and breaking down music in preparation to dance or freestyle as well as techniques and exercises for moving through space in direction and rotation.

I am ALSO the C0-Artistic director of MPower Dance Workshops and travel throughout the year to teach workshops with my brother from another mother, Jason Marquette.

Competitive Choreography

I have been adjudicating/judging and setting choreography for the dance competitions circuit for over 15 years. I have received all types of overall, choreography and judges choice awards for Tap, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Jazz and Open category routines. Although tap dance has always been a through line throughout my career, I can attribute my success (and more specifically, longevity) in the entertainment industry to being well rounded and willing to learn new things and tackle new obstacles 💪

A top priority in my choreography is highlighting the strengths of the dancers that I am working with while giving them work that will push their level and ability. It is my job to set them up for success!

Virtual Critiques & FaceTime Coaching Sessions (NEW)

In the name of putting our infinite technology in our pocket (and on our laptops) AND by over 15 years of adjudication and choreography experience in the competition dance industry to use….I am now offering Virtual Critique Sessions and LIVE FaceTime Coaching!

My competitive dance experience and all the things that you learn on the journey (teamwork, good sportsmanship, physical discipline, perseverance, hard work, artistic expression, etc.) were the thing that truly set me up for success in my life both on and off the stage. This core part of my training years combined with the wide range of experiences from my professional career have together informed the adjudicator and arts educator that I have grown into over the years!

OTHER Choreography needs

(Weddings, Flash Mobs, Corporate Events, etc)

Dance, as I have learned over the years, is not only something that we experience FROM stage or FROM the audience. It is something we come across ALL THE TIME in our everyday lives. Weddings, School Dances, Fund Raising Events, Family Reunions, Flash Mobs, just to name a few - and BELIVE me there are many others - where you will be confronted with a dance floor on your journey through life.

Please let me know how I can help you with whatever dance related service you might be looking for!

As young creative artists, and really as human beings, you have to be open to failure. Failure is a part of learning. As a very old dancer, I have had many, many opportunities to fail. It happens. Projects collapse. Knees blow out. Money dries up. But you as artists, and as young people discovering what you care about, you must be generous to that spark inside yourself that made you love dance in the first place.
